The sport and yacht harbour Marina de Cala d'Or has over 563 berths and 30,000 m² of mooring space.
Probably the most important harbour on the east coast of Mallorca, it offers a diverse range of culinary products and chic shopping areas with exclusive shops.
Due to the optimum topographical conditions in the area of the harbour entrance, which offer boats protection from wind and waves, this harbour was already used by the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and Carthaginians. King Philip V of Spain ordered the construction of a fortress to defend this safe haven.
The sandy beaches at Mallorca's most beautiful marina in this area are mainly small. Cala Ferrera and Cala Gran are the largest and received a blue flag for their water and beach quality in 2015. There are also several smaller bays – Cala d´Es Pou, Cala Serena, Cala Esmeralda, Cala d´Egos and Cala d’Or. The beaches are a real find!
